    What’s bothersome about the discovery is that if it is big, why would Altius vend
    this property for a puny 4.5 million shares of a 30 cent junior instead of keeping it and
    building it up to sell at a much higher price.

  2. Hi Vince,
    I guess altius doesn’t want to spend money even though they are doing the work for the Junior. With regards to the staking rush, one of your old 4 horsemen of the Newfoundland shale play ( Vulcan Resources VUL.V ) picked up land east the new discovery in July. It has nothing to do with the discovery but it looks like the staking got
    a bit close to their property so in the last few weeks they panic staked over 250 claims to
    quadruple their stake.

    It will be great once there is a consolidated map of the entire area like there was in the Yukon staking rush.
